Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1255834 Size: SH
  1. Siphon the power steering fluid from the fluid reservoir.
  2. Disconnect the fluid supply hose at the fluid reservoir lower connection.

    3. Object Number: 1255835 Size: SH
  3. Disconnect the fluid supply hose from the power steering pump inlet. Use a rag to avoid any spillage.
  4. Remove the power steering fluid supply hose.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1255835 Size: SH
  1. Install the power steering fluid supply hose.
  2. Connect the fluid supply hose to the power steering pump inlet.

    3. Object Number: 1255834 Size: SH
  3. Connect the fluid supply hose to the fluid reservoir lower connection.

    4. Notice: Refer to Power Steering Required Fluid Notice in the Preface section.

  4. Fill the fluid reservoir with power steering fluid.
  5. Inspect for leaks. If there are leaks, correct the cause of the leaks and bleed the system. Refer to Power Steering System Bleeding .
