Transmission Mount Bracket Replacement 2.0L DOHC

Tools Required

J 28467-B (DW117) Universal Engine Support Fixture

1. Remove the air filter housing.
2. Install the J 28467-B (1).



3. Remove the left transaxle mounting nut.



4. Remove the left transaxle mounting bracket bolts and the bracket.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.




1. Install the bracket and the left transaxle mounting bracket bolts.

Tighten
Tighten the left transaxle mounting bracket bolts to 40 N·m (30 lb ft).




2. Install the left transaxle mounting nut.

Tighten
Tighten the left transaxle mounting nut to 155 N·m (114 lb ft).




3. Remove the J 28467-B .
4. Install the air filter housing.

Transmission Mount Bracket Replacement 2.5L DOHC

Tools Required

J 28467-B (DW117) Universal Engine Support Fixture

1. Remove the air filter housing.
2. Install the J 28467-B  (1).



3. Remove the four transaxle mounting nuts.
4. Remove the bolt and nut from the transaxle mounting bracket cage.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.




1. Install the left four transaxle mounting bracket bolts.

Tighten
Tighten the left transaxle mounting bracket bolts to 40 N·m (30 lb ft).

2. Install the bolt and nut to the left transaxle mounting bracket cage.

Tighten
Tighten the bolt and nut to 65 N·m (48 lb ft).




3. Remove the J 28467-B  (1).
4. Install the air filter housing.
