DT 46475 (DW260-070) Auto Transaxle Plug Remover/Installer

Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.




1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

Notice: Refer to Vehicle Lifting and Jacking Notice in the Preface section.

2. Raise and suitably support the vehicle.
3. Remove the engine under cover. Refer to Engine Cover Replacement in Frame and Underbody.
4. Place a fluid container below the fluid drain plug.
5. Use the DT 46475 (1) to remove the transaxle fluid drain plug.



6. Remove the oil cooler inlet and outlet pipes. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Replacement .



7. Remove the oil pan and the oil pan gasket.
