Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1375178 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Disconnect the camshaft position (CMP) sensor connector.
  3. Remove the CMP sensor.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1375180 Size: SH
  1. Install the CMP sensor.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the CMP sensor retaining bolt 12 N·m (106 lb in).

  2. Connect the CMP sensor connector.
  3. Connect the negative battery cable.
