Remove left quarter wheel house panel. Refer to Rear Wheelhouse Panel Liner Replacement .
Remove the left rear compartment trim panel. Refer to Rear Compartment Rear Center Trim Panel Carpet Replacement .

Fuel Actuator Jam Nut

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

Tighten
2 N·m (18 lb in)

Fuel Actuator Mount Nut

Tighten
3 N·m (27 lb in)

Fuel Door Release Actuator

Tip

•	On a coupe model the electronically fuel door can be manually opened from the inside the rear compartment by pulling on the release cable located behind the drivers side rear wheelhouse carpet.

•	On a convertible model the electronically fuel door can be manually opened from the inside the rear compartment by pulling on the release cable located behind the stowage compartment carpet.

•	Disconnect the electrical connector.
