Models:2000-2007 All General Motors Light Duty and Passenger Cars



The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

Condition/Concern:

Installation concerns, parts concerns, and/or Instruction Sheet missing when installing a GM Accessory.

Recommendation/Instructions:

All questions regarding the installation of GM Accessories or missing parts/instructions should be directed to the Partech Group (Canada contact TRACS). Have your dealers parts department contact the Partech group at 1-800-433-6961, (Canada TRACS 866-275-5832) and select the following:

For U.S and Canada:

  1. Select prompt 1 for U.S
  2. Note: Requires customer(dealer) code and password.

  3. Select prompt 2 Partech Main Menu
  4. Select prompt 4 For Cars
  5. Note: You should even select Cars when working with a Truck because there is no separate selection for truck

  6. Select prompt 3 for Catalog Accessory Group.

Partech provides technical advice on the installation of the GM Accessories as well as the tracking of each call for quality purposes.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
