Does the left door LOCK and UNLOCK correctly?

Go to Step 2

  1. Disconnect the left heated outside rearview mirror connector C1.
  2. Measure the voltage between the left heated outside rearview mirror connector C1 terminal E and ground.
  3. Turn ON the rear defogger.

Is the voltage within the specified range?

10.0-14.0V

Go to Step 3

Go to Step 5

  1. Turn ON the rear defogger.
  2. Measure the voltage between the left heated outside rearview mirror connector C1 terminal B and terminal E.

Is the voltage within the specified range?

10.0-14.0V

Go to Step 4

Go to Step 7

Replace the left heated outside rearview mirror.

Is the replacement complete?

Recheck the System Operation

Using a scan tool check if the left door is receiving the command to turn ON the left heated outside rearview mirror

Is the command being received?

Go to Step 6

Recheck the System Operation

  1. Check for an open in CKT 267 between the left heated outside rearview mirror connector C1 terminal E and left Door Control Module Connector C3 terminal B.
  2. If OK, replace the left Door Control Module (DCM).

Is the replacement completed?

Recheck the System Operation

  1. Check for an open in CKT 450 between the left heated outside rearview mirror connector C1 terminal B and the left Door Control Module (DCM) connector C3 terminal F.
  2. If OK, Replace the left Door Control Module (DCM).

Is the repair complete?

Recheck the System Operation

Is there any mechanical binding?

Recheck the System Operation

Go to Step 9

  1. Disconnect the left door lock connector C3.
  2. Measure the voltage between the left door lock connector C3 terminal A and terminal B.
  3. Press the left door lock switch to LOCK and UNLOCK.

Is the volage in the specified range in LOCK and UNLOCK?

10.0-14.0V

Go to Step 10

Go to Step 11

Replace the left door lock.

Is the replacement complete?

Recheck the System Operation

  1. Check for an open in CKT 294 or CKT 295 between the left door lock and the left Door Control Module (DCM).
  2. If OK, replace the left Door Control Module (DCM).

Is the repair complete?

Recheck the System Operation
