A/C SYSTEM REPAIR A/C COMPRESSOR BRACKET TORQUE

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1987 'L' AND 'J' MODELS EQUIPPED WITH L-4 ENGINE (VIN 1)

Proper torque level needs to be applied to the A/C compressor bracket whenever the A/C compressor is reinstalled or A/C line breakage has occurred. The diagram below states the correct torque level required for good A/C system retention.
