Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement .
  2. Remove the left front wheelhouse liner. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement in Body Front End.
  3. Remove the air conditioning (A/C) suction hose from the compressor. Refer to Suction Hose Replacement in Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning.
  4. Remove the air conditioning (A/C) discharge hose from the compressor. Refer to Discharge Hose Replacement in Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning.

  5. Object Number: 1350687  Size: SH
  6. Remove the bolts securing the drive belt idler pulley to the engine.
  7. Remove drive belt idler pulley from the engine.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 1350687  Size: SH
  1. Position drive belt idler pulley to the engine.
  2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  3. Install the bolts securing the drive belt idler pulley to the engine.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the drive belt idler pulley bolts in sequence to 50 N·m (37 lb ft).

  5. Install the air conditioning (A/C) suction hose to the compressor. Refer to Suction Hose Replacement in Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning.
  6. Install the air conditioning (A/C) discharge hose to the compressor. Refer to Discharge Hose Replacement in Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning.
  7. Install the left front wheelhouse liner. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement in Body Front End.
  8. Install the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement .
