Makes 🢒 Chevrolet 🢒 2007 🢒 Cobalt 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Mechanical - 2.0L 🢒 Engine Oil Cooler Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Drain the charged air cooling system. Refer to Charge Air Cooling System Draining and Filling .

    2. Object Number: 1577505 Size: SH
  2. Remove the oil pressure sensor (1).
  3. Disconnect the oil cooler hoses (2).
  4. Remove the oil cooler stud (3) and the oil cooler bolts (4).
  5. Remove the oil cooler.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1577505 Size: SH
  1. Install the oil cooler.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the oil cooler bolts (4) and stud (3).

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts and stud to 22 N·m (16 lb ft).

  3. Connect the oil cooler hoses (2).
  4. Install the oil pressure sensor (1).

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the sensor to 22 N·m (16 lb ft).

  5. Fill the charged air cooling system. Refer to Charge Air Cooling System Draining and Filling .
