Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement .

  2. Object Number: 851552  Size: SH
  3. Support the engine with a hydraulic floor jack. Use a piece of wood between the jack and the oil pan.

  4. Object Number: 851553  Size: SH
  5. Remove the engine mount to intermediate bracket bolts.

  6. Object Number: 851555  Size: SH
  7. Remove the engine mount to midrail nuts.
  8. Remove the engine mount from the engine compartment.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 851555  Size: SH
  1. Place the engine mount onto the midrail and hand start the nuts.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Tighten the engine mount to midrail nuts.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the nuts to 100 N·m (74 lb ft).

    Important: The engine mount to intermediate bracket bolts must be hand started. Do not pry the engine mount to align the holes.

  5. Hand start the engine mount to intermediate bracket bolts.
  6. Tighten the engine mount to intermediate bracket bolts.
  7. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 50 N·m (37 lb ft).

  8. Remove the hydraulic floor jack.
  9. Install the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement .
