Makes 🢒 Chevrolet 🢒 2007 🢒 Cobalt 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Controls and Fuel - 2.0L 🢒 Mass Airflow Sensor Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
  2. Remove the left front tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation.
  3. Remove the left front fender liner. Refer to Front Fender Liner Replacement.
  4. Remove the left front engine splash shield. Refer to Engine Splash Shield Replacement - Left Side.

    5. Object Number: 1386444 Size: SH
  5. Disconnect the electrical connector from the mass air flow (MAF) sensor.
  6. Remove the 2 fasteners.
  7. Remove the MAF sensor from the air cleaner housing.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1386444 Size: SH
  1. Install the MAF sensor into the air cleaner housing.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Secure the MAF sensor to the air cleaner housing with the 2 fasteners.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the 2 fasteners to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  3. Connect the MAF sensor electrical connector.
  4. Install the left front engine splash shield. Refer to Engine Splash Shield Replacement - Left Side.
  5. Install the left front fender liner. Refer to Front Fender Liner Replacement.
  6. Install the left front tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation.
  7. Lower the vehicle.
