Tools Required
| • | DT-47722 Shift Rail Bushing Remover and Installer |
| • | DT-47724 Output Shaft Bearing Cup Installer |
| • | DT-47726 Countershaft Rear Bearing Installer |
Rear Case Assemble
- Apply gear oil to bearing. Use DT-47726 to install bearing (138).
- Install the bearing retainer (21) and bolt (38).
- Install the gasket (29).
- Install the oil trough (17).
- Using DT-47722 , install the bearing (25) in the rear case.
- Using DT-47724 , install the tapered bearing race (139).
Tighten
Tighten the bolt to 11.3 N·m (100 lb in).
Middle Case Assemble
Using DT-47722 , install the bearing (8) in the middle case.
