For 1990-2009 cars only
- Position the transmission case so that the rear of the case is facing up.
- At dimension A, measure the distance from the rear face of the low and reverse clutch housing (1) to the rear face of the bearing spacer (2).
- At dimension B, measure the distance from the rear face of the low and reverse clutch housing (3) to the rear face of the retaining ring (4).
- Calculate Dimension C by subtracting Dimension B from Dimension A .
- Select the appropriate selective spacer (1) based upon Dimension C. Refer to Selective Components Specifications .
- Install the selective spacer (1) onto the output shaft (2).
