Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the cluster trim plate. Refer to Instrument Cluster Trim Panel Replacement .

  2. Object Number: 291473  Size: SH
  3. Remove the screws attaching the I/P cluster (2) to the I/P carrier (1).
  4. Pull the I/P cluster (2) rearward in order to remove the cluster from I/P carrier.
  5. Disconnect the electrical connector.

Installation Procedure

  1. Connect the electrical connector.
  2. Install the I/P cluster (2) to the I/P carrier (1).
  3. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  4. Install the I/P cluster bolts.
  5. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 2.3 N·m (20 lb in).

  6. Install the cluster trim plate. Refer to Instrument Cluster Trim Panel Replacement .
