Beginning in July 1999, GM Defense Military Trucks has been delivering to the US Armed Forces Chevrolet K-Series (4WD) vehicles that have been specially modified. These vehicles can include some or all of the following modifications:

EMP (Enhanced Mobility Package):

Standard vehicle warranty terms with bumper to bumper coverage of 36 months or 36,000 miles. This INCLUDES all specialty equipment installed by GM, as listed above.

Special labor operations have been established for use for the unique military and EMP equipment only. These are straight time operations only. Apply standard parts markup to net item field. Detailed comments are required on all claims submitted to include failure and correction information. Use these operations in accordance with GM warranty policy and procedures.
