Quad Steering Inoperative, DTC Code C0550

When servicing the vehicle with the VIN you entered, the following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the described symptoms.

Quad steering (NYS) inoperative with DTC C0550. Concern will return after clearing code; may be immediate or intermittent.

Inspect for mega fuse 125A at underhood fuse holder wire loose at stud prior to replacing the rear wheel steering control module. It may be possible for circuit 1042 13 red wire to be loose at stud. Re-torque connection and test vehicle.

Please follow this diagnosis process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed. This diagnostic approach was developed for the vehicle with the VIN you entered and should not be automatically be used for other vehicles with similar symptoms.
