SUBJECT: WARRANTY ADMINISTRATION -- FUEL FILL ALLOWANCE CHANGES

MODEL: 1994 CHEVROLET/GEO PASSENGER CARS AND LIGHT DUTY TRUCKS

ATTENTION:

DEALER SERVICE MANAGER/WARRANTY ADMINISTRATOR

THE PURPOSE OF THIS BULLETIN IS TO ADVISE RETAIL/WHOLESALE PERSONNEL OF A CHANGE TO THE 1994 CHEVROLET/GEO FULL TANK OF FUEL PROGRAM.

EFFECTIVE APRIL 1, 1994, THE GENERAL MOTORS FUEL FILL REIMBURSEMENT RATE FOR SELF-SERVE, REGULAR, UNLEADED GASOLINE CHANGED TO $1.10 PER GALLON. PREMIUM, UNLEADED GASOLINE AND DIESEL FUEL REMAIN UNCHANGED AT $1.30 AND $1.20 RESPECTIVELY. (PLEASE REFER TO THE ATTACHED CHART FOR INDIVIDUAL PASSENGER CAR AND TRUCK FUEL PRICES.) ALSO, THE CHEVROLET CAMAROS EQUIPPED WITH THE OPTIONAL LT1 ENGINE WILL BE ELIGIBLE FOR PREMIUM, UNLEADED GASOLINE; UNDER THE PROGRAM GUIDELINES.

DEALER CREDIT IS AUTOMATICALLY TRIGGERED BY THE RETAIL DELIVERY REPORT. ALL PASSENGER CARS AND LIGHT-DUTY TRUCKS DELIVERED RETAIL ARE ELIGIBLE FOR THE CREDIT, EXCEPT ALL C/K 30 SERIES, CHASSIS MODELS 30 SERIES, P MODELS AND ANY UNIT SHOWING A "RETAIL AMENITIES DELETE" NOTATION ON THE INVOICE.

THE ATTACHED CHART SHOWS THE AVERAGE AMOUNT OF FUEL ADDED BY DEALER, PER UNIT FUEL PRICE, AND THE PROPOSED DEALER CREDIT A DEALER WILL RECEIVE FOR EACH 1994 VEHICLE SOLD RETAIL. NON- ELIGIBLE MODELS ARE SHOWN WITH $0.00 AMOUNT IN THE DEALER CREDIT COLUMN.

ELIGIBLE PAST MODEL UNITS DELIVERED FROM INVENTORY WILL RECEIVE CREDIT BASED ON THEIR PROPER FUEL CAPACITY MULTIPLIED BY THE FUEL PRICE IN EFFECT AT THE TIME OF DELIVERY. FUEL CAPACITIES AND CREDIT -------------------------- PRICES EFFECTIVE APRIL 1, 1994
