A hydraulic jounce bumper is a basic hydraulic cylinder. The hydraulic jounce bumper aids the shock absorber in increased energy absorption and improved endurance. The top of the jounce bumper is mounted to the frame and the lower is mounted to the lower control arm. The hydraulic jounce bumper is used in conjunction with the factory jounce bumper.
