Makes 🢒 Chevrolet 🢒 2003 🢒 Chevy K Silverado - 4WD 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Mechanical - 6.6L 🢒 Engine Oil Level Sensor and/or Switch Replacement

Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 660296 Size: SH
  1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  2. Place a suitable container under the engine in order to drain the oil.
  3. Remove the oil drain plug.
  4. Drain the engine oil.
  5. Remove the lower oil pan. Refer to Lower Oil Pan Replacement .

    6. Object Number: 663624 Size: SH
  6. Remove the oil level sensor clip (3).
  7. Remove the oil level sensor bolt (2) and sensor (1).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 663624 Size: SH
  1. Install the oil level sensor (1) and bolt (2).

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 9 N·m (80 lb in).

  2. Install the oil level sensor clip (3).
  3. Install the lower oil pan. Refer to Lower Oil Pan Replacement .
