When servicing the vehicle with the VIN you entered, the following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the described symptoms.

SERVICE VME

You may receive a call regarding the installation instructions regarding the following running board kits.

* P/N 15061119: Assist Step Package (Pewter)

* P/N 15061120: Assist Step Package (Black)

* P/N 15061121: Assist Step Package (Green)

At this time, the installation instruction sheet for these kits is being revised to reflect this tool requirement, as it currently advises the installer to use a 13.5 mm bit.

Advise the dealer that a 13 mm or Uni bit is required to install these running boards.

Please follow this diagnosis process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed. If these steps do not resolve the condition, please contact GM TAC for further diagnostic assistance. This diagnostic approach was developed for the vehicle with the VIN you entered and should not be automatically be used for other vehicles with similar symptoms.
