Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the air cleaner outlet resonator. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Resonator Replacement .

    2. Object Number: 26764 Size: SH
  2. Remove the accelerator cable from the cable routing bracket.

    3. Object Number: 325556 Size: SH
  3. Remove the accelerator cable from the throttle body lever.

    4. Object Number: 325557 Size: MH
  4. Remove the accelerator cable from the engine cable bracket.

    5. Object Number: 372959 Size: SH
  5. Remove the left instrument panel insulator.
  6. Disconnect the accelerator cable retainer (3) from the accelerator pedal lever (2).
  7. Squeeze the accelerator cable cover tangs (1) and push the cable through the bulkhead.
  8. Remove the accelerator cable.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 372959 Size: SH
  1. Install the accelerator cable through the bulkhead. Snap the accelerator cable cover tangs (1) through the dash panel.
  2. Install the accelerator cable through the slot in the accelerator pedal lever.
  3. Seat the retainer (3) in the accelerator pedal lever (2).
  4. Install left instrument panel insulator.

  5. Install the accelerator cable to the engine cable bracket.

    6. Object Number: 325556 Size: SH
  6. Install the accelerator cable to the throttle body lever.

    7. Object Number: 26764 Size: SH
  7. Install the accelerator cable to the cable routing bracket.

    8. Object Number: 489176 Size: SH
  8. Install the air cleaner outlet resonator. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Resonator Replacement .
