AIR LEAK AT DOOR HANDLE NEW ESCUTCHEON P/N MAY REPAIR

Model and Year: 1985-88 C/K AND R/V TRUCKS

Air leaks through the front and rear door handles may occur on some of the models stated above. A new seal has been added to the door handle escutcheon to reduce air intrusion. To repair this condition, remove the existing door handle escutcheon and install the new escutcheon P/N 15606435 left and 15606436 right.

The new escutcheons were incorporated into production beginning with the following VIN breakpoints:

Flint: JF151929

Janesville: JJ122729

Labor Operation: C3280 - Right C3281 - Left Labor Time: .2 hrs. each side
