  1. Install a new O-ring onto the fuel injector.
  2. Lubricate the O-ring with engine oil.
  3. Install a new copper washer into the fuel injector bore in the cylinder head.
  4. Install the fuel injector right bracket pin.

  5. Install the fuel injector left bracket pin.

    6. Object Number: 1335625 Size: SH
  6. Install the right fuel injector with fuel injector bracket.

    7. Object Number: 1335621 Size: SH
  7. Install the left fuel injector with fuel injector bracket.

    8. Object Number: 1335619 Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  8. Install the right fuel injector bracket bolts.

    9. Tighten
    Tighten the right fuel injector bracket bolts to 30 N·m (22 lb ft).

  9. Install the left fuel injector bracket bolts.

    10. Tighten
    Tighten the left fuel injector bracket bolts to 30 N·m (22 lb ft).
