Windshield wiper blades should be inspected for wear and cracking. See Scheduled Maintenance for more information.

Replacement blades come in different types and are removed in different ways. For proper type and length, see Maintenance Replacement Parts .

To replace the windshield wiper blade assembly do the following:

1. Turn the ignition to the ON/ACC position.
2. Turn the wiper switch to the PULSE position.
3. Turn the ignition to the OFF/LOCK position while the wipers are not moving.



4. Push the release lever to disengage the hook and push the wiper arm out of the blade.



5. Push the new wiper blade on the wiper arm until you hear the release lever click into place.
