  1. Turn OFF the engine.
  2. Disconnect the generator connector.
  3. Move the ignition switch to the RUN position.

Does the battery indicator light?

Repair or replace the generator. Refer to Generator Replacement

Is the repair complete?

Go to Charging System Check

  1. Remove n CKT 25 (BRN) from connector C100.
  2. Turn ignition switch to the RUN position.

Does the battery indicator light?

Go to Step 4

Locate and repair the short to ground in CKT 25 (BRN) between C100 and the battery indicator bulb. Refer to Wiring Repairs

Is the repair complete?

Go to Charging System Check .

Locate and repair the short to ground in CKT 25 (BRN) between C100 and the generator. Refer to Wiring Repairs
