  2. Disconnect the CKT 25 (BRN) connector to the generator.

  1. Disconnect the harness connector at the instrument cluster.
  2. Use a J39200 DMM between instrument cluster harness connector terminal 19 and the chassis ground.

Does the DMM indicate continuity?

Locate and repair the short to ground in CKT 25 (BRN) between the instrument cluster and the generator.

Is the repair complete?
