REVISED TORQUE VALVES FOR FUEL LINE NUTS AT TBI UNIT

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1989 "A, N" 2.5L (VIN R, U) ENGINES

This bulletin serves to revise the torque specifications for the 2.5L (VIN R & U) fuel line nuts and TBI inlet/outlet nuts listed in Section "6E2-C2", "Driveability and Emissions" in the 1989 "A" and "N" Service Manuals.

The new specifications are listed below:

TBI Fuel Inlet/Outlet Nuts - 41.0 N.m (30 ft.lbs.) Fuel Feed and Return Line Nuts at TBI Unit - 27.0 N.m (20 ft. lbs.)
