LOOSE RADIO SPEAKER GRILL NOISE FROM INSTRUMENT PANEL

Model and Year: 1987-88 CELEBRITY

Comments may be received concerning loose radio speaker grilles rattling and popping up from I/P. To repair, use the following procedure:

1. Remove speaker grille from I/P.

2. Cover rear edge of grille and flange with a shop cloth to prevent damage to painted surfaces (See Illustration).

3. Using pliers, bend rear edge of grille flange slightly (approximately 3.Omm) to increase contact retention to I/P. See Illustration - Section A-A.

NOTICE: CARE MUST BE USED SO AS NOT TO MAR PAINTED SURFACE OF GRILLE AND/OR IP AREA.
