DIESEL WATER PUMP LEAK GASKET INFORMATION

VEHICLES AFFECTED: Vehicles That Are Equipped With Goodwrench Diesel Engines

There are two raised sections on the front cover between the bolts underneath the water inlet holes. The raised sections are put there to put a higher load on the water pump gasket in that area. Should you experience a leak in that area when transferring the waterr pump to a Goodwrench engine, apply RTV sealer tc each side of the gasket. Do not grind off the raised section.
