DTC B2469: SIM Card InvalidDiagnostic Fault Information
Perform the Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle in Vehicle DTC Information, prior to using this diagnostic procedure.
Circuit/System Description
The telematics module is programmed to match a SIM card. SIM cards have each been assigned a unique SIM card number. If the SIM card number programmed into the telematics module does not match the SIM card or if the SIM card has been swapped from another telematics module, the telematics module will set a DTC.
Conditions for Running the DTC
The SIM card is no longer valid or is barred from the network.
Conditions for Setting the DTC
This code shall set as current when the SIM card number programmed into the telematics module does not match the SIM card.
Action Taken When the DTC Sets
| • | The telematics module sets a DTC. |
| • | The telematics module commands the red LED ON. |
Conditions for Clearing the DTC
| • | The condition for setting the DTC is no longer present. |
| • | The history DTC will clear after 50 fault-free ignition cycles. |
| • | The DTC can be cleared using a scan tool. |

Circuit/System Testing
- Ignition ON, use the scan tool to request DTCs. Verify that DTC B2469 is set as current.
- Contact the Telematics Call Centre to verify if the SIM Card is valid.
- Request activation of the SIM card and wait for confirmation with the Telematics Call Centre.

| ⇒ | If the SIM card is valid replace the telematics module. |
