DTC B2471: Telephone Number ErrorDiagnostic Fault Information
Perform the Diagnostic System Check - Vehicle in Vehicle DTC Information, prior to using this diagnostic procedure.
Circuit/System Description
The telematics module is programmed with the phone numbers for information services, Holden assist and emergency. If any one of their respective buttons are pushed, the telematics module will attempt to establish a voice call to an information services operator. If an incorrect phone number is programmed into the telematics module, the telematics module will set a DTC.
Conditions for Running the DTC
The phone number automatically dialled is invalid.
Conditions for Setting the DTC
This code shall set as current when an incorrect phone number is programmed into the telematics module.
Action Taken When the DTC Sets
| • | The telematics module sets a DTC. |
| • | The telematics module commands the red LED ON. |
Conditions for Clearing the DTC
| • | The condition for setting the DTC is no longer present. |
| • | The history DTC will clear after 50 fault-free ignition cycles. |
| • | The DTC can be cleared using a scan tool. |

Circuit/System Testing
- Ignition ON, use the scan tool to request DTCs. Verify that DTC B2471 is set as current.
| ⇒ | If DTC B2471 is historical, clear the DTC. |
| ⇒ | If DTC B2471 is current replace the telematics module. |
