    Object Number: 1957806 Size: SH
  1. Remove the rear dome lamp assembly. Refer to Dome Lamp Replacement.
  2. Remove the DVD player surround trim. Refer to Video Disc Player Bezel Replacement.
  3. Remove the DVD player to rear seat entertainment (RSE) assembly bracket screws (1).

    4. Object Number: 1957809 Size: SH
  4. Cut the retaining ties (1) securing the RSE assembly harnesses to the DVD player.

    5. Object Number: 1957811 Size: SH
  5. Disconnect the DVD player connectors (1).
  6. Remove the DVD player from the RSE assembly bracket.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1957811 Size: SH
  1. Connect the DVD player electrical connector.
  2. Install the DVD player to the RSE assembly bracket.

    3. Object Number: 1957809 Size: SH
  3. Appropriately fasten the RSE harnesses to the DVD player assembly (1) with retaining ties.

    4. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1957806 Size: SH
  4. Install the DVD player to RSE assembly bracket retaining screws (1).

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 2.5 N·m (22 lb in).

  5. Install the DVD player surround trim. Refer to Video Disc Player Bezel Replacement.
  6. Install the rear dome lamp assembly. Refer to Dome Lamp Replacement.
