Makes 🢒 Chevrolet 🢒 2007 🢒 Caprice WM 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Mechanical - 3.6L 🢒 Air Conditioning (A/C) Compressor Installation

    Important: Follow the procedure sequence in order to prevent drive belt mis-alignment and/or possible damage/distortion to the components.


    Object Number: 1958777 Size: SH
  1. Install the A/C compressor bracket (2).

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the A/C compressor bracket to cylinder block retaining bolts (1).

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 58 N·m (42 lb ft).

  3. If you are replacing the compressor, balance the compressor oil. Refer to Air Conditioning Compressor Oil Balancing.

    4. Object Number: 1958774 Size: SH
  4. Install the A/C compressor (2).
  5. Install the A/C compressor to A/C compressor bracket retaining bolts (1).

    6. Tighten
    Tighten the nuts to 22 N·m (16 lb ft).
