Removal Procedure
- Remove the air intake duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement.
- Using a suitable tool, rotate the drive belt tensioner (1) clockwise to relieve the tension on the accessory drive belt (2).
- Remove the accessory drive belt (2).
- Slowly release tension on the drive belt tensioner (1).
- Clean and inspect the drive belt surfaces of all the pulleys.
Installation Procedure
- Route the accessory drive belt (2) around all the pulleys except the water pump pulley (3).
- Using a suitable tool, rotate the drive belt tensioner (1) clockwise.
- Install the accessory drive belt under the water pump pulley (3).
- Slowly release the drive belt tensioner (1).
- Install the air intake duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement.
- Inspect the accessory drive belt (2) for correct alignment.
