When servicing the vehicle with the VIN you entered, the following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the described symptoms.

Frequent use of the rear defroster when used to clear frost, snow, water, etc., may cause the circuit breaker and terminals to overheat. Because of this, there is added resistance and the circuit breaker begins to open at times and this will happen more and more frequently. The length of on time gets shorter and shorter.

Replace circuit breaker and fuse box terminals from kit part number 22638225.

Please follow this diagnosis process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed. If these steps do not resolve the condition, please contact GM TAC for further diagnostic assistance.
