Parking and Turn Signal Lamp Replacement Chevrolet

Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 294760  Size: SH
  1. Remove the headlamp. Refer to Headlamp Replacement .
  2. Remove the park and turn signal sockets from the lamp by rotating counterclockwise.

  3. Object Number: 294761  Size: SH
  4. Remove the park/turn signal lamp bolts from the lamp.
  5. Remove the park and turn signal lamp from the front bumper fascia.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 294761  Size: SH
  1. Install the park and turn signal lamp to the front bumper fascia.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the park and turn signal lamp bolts.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the park and turn signal lamp bolts to 3 N·m (27 lb in).

  5. Install the park and turn signal sockets to the lamp by rotating clockwise.
  6. Install the headlamp. Refer to Headlamp Replacement

Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  2. Open the access door in the front bumper air deflector.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the park and turn signal lamp.

  4. Object Number: 294763  Size: SH
  5. Remove the park and turn signal lamp nuts.
  6. Remove the park and turn signal lamp (2) from the fascia.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the park and turn signal lamp (2) to the fascia.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified.   3. Install the park and turn signal lamp bolts.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the park and turn signal lamp nuts to 4 N·m (35 lb in).

  5. Connect the electrical connector to the park and turn signal lamp.
  6. Close the access door in the front bumper air deflector.
  7. Lower the vehicle.

Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  2. Open the access door in the front bumper air deflector.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the park and turn signal lamp.

  4. Object Number: 366720  Size: SH
  5. Remove the park and turn signal lamp bolts.
  6. Remove the park and turn signal lamp from the fascia.

  1. Position the park and turn signal lamp to the front fascia.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application.
