Rear License Plate Lamp Replacement Domestic

Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 294766  Size: SH
  1. Remove the rear license lamp screws.
  2. Remove the rear license lamp from the rear bumper fascia.

  3. Object Number: 294765  Size: SH
  4. Disconnect the rear license lamp electrical connector.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 294765  Size: SH
  1. Connect the rear license lamp electrical connector.

  2. Object Number: 294766  Size: SH
  3. Position the rear license lamp to the rear bumper fascia.
  4. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  5. Install the rear license lamp screws.
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the rear license lamp screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  1. Remove the rear license lamp screws.
  2. Remove the rear license lamp from the rear fascia.

  3. Object Number: 379383  Size: SH
  4. Disconnect the license lamp electrical connector.
  5. Remove the rear license lamp bulbs (2), if necessary.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 379383  Size: SH
  1. Install the rear license lamp bulbs (2), if removed.
  2. Connect the license lamp electrical connector.

  3. Object Number: 379380  Size: SH
  4. Position the rear license lamp to the rear fascia.
  5. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure.
