CLUTCH PEDAL CONTACT HUSH PNL. TRIM EDGE OF HUSH PANEL

SUBJECT: HUSH PANEL REWORK - CONTACT WITH CLUTCH PEDAL (TRIM HUSH PANEL FROM EDGE)

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1990-91 F-CARS WITH STANDARD TRANSMISSION

Condition:

--------- Some owners may comment that the clutch pedal contacts the edge of hush panel.

Cause:

----- Hush panel and or clutch pedal slightly mispositioned due to build variation.

Correction:

---------- Remove left side (driver side) hush panel. Using a sharp cutting tool trim off approximately 3 mm (1/8 inch) material from edge of hush panel where clutch makes contact. (See Illustration).
