TRANSMISSION FLUID LEAKS AT THE VEHICLE SPEED SENSOR

Model and Year: 1990-91 CAPRICE AND CAMARO WITH 4L60 AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION

CONDITION:

---------- Transmission fluid leaks at the vehicle speed sensor.

CAUSE:

------- The leak may be at the sensor seal to the transmission or at the electrical connector to the sensor.

CORRECTION:

----------- A new series of transmission speed sensors with improved anti-leak characteristics should be used to correct the condition.

P/N 10456089 REPLACES P/N 10456022
