4000 RPM B00M/VIBRATION INFORMATION

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1982 "F" SERIES VEHICLE EQUIPPED WITH 2.5L ENGINE AND MANUAL TRANSMISSION SOME 1982 "F" SERIES VEHICLES WITH 4-CYLINDER ENGINE AND MANUAL TRANSMISSION MAY EXHIBIT A THROTTLE SENSITIVE ENGINE BOOM/VIBRATION WHICH IS HEARD AND FELT AT APPROXIMATELY 4000 RPM. ON SOME VEHICLES, THIS CONDITION MAY BE IMPROVED BY REMOVING THE TRANSMISSION DAMPER. IF THE DAMPER IS REMOVED, A SPACER (PART NUMBER 10018110) MUST BE INSTALLED BETWEEN THE TORQUE ARM BRACKET AND THE TRANSMISSION (SEE ILLUSTRATION). 1.SPACER 10018110 2.TORQUE ARM. 3.DAMPER ASM. 4.TRANSMISSION
