PUSH ROD GUIDE PLATE WEAR REPLACEMENT

Model and Year: 1988 CAXARO, S/T TRUCKS WITH 2.8L (VIN CODES S, R) ENGINE

In the event that a customer comment regarding engine noise on recent engines is diagnosed as push rod guide plate wear (reference Section 6A2 of the Service Manual), all six push rod guide plates should be replaced.

Use applicable Labor Time and Operation Code.
