MODELS: LATE 1996 AND ALL 1997 PASSENGER CARS WITH POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULES (PCM)

EFFECTIVE MARCH 7, 1996, ALL 1996 1/2 AND 1997 MODEL YEAR PASSENGER CARS RECEIVED A CHANGE TO THE IDENTIFICATION LABEL USED ON PCM'S. OTHER THAN ITS APPEARANCE, THESE CHANGES DO NOT AFFECT THE SERVICE REPLACEMENT PROCEDURE OF PCM'S. THE FOLLOWING ILLUSTRATION DETAILS THE CHANGES.
