J 28467-B , DW-117 (DW-110-060) Universal Engine Assembly Support Fixture

Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.




1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

Notice: When raising or supporting the engine for any reason, do not use a jack under the oil pan, any sheet metal, or crankshaft balancer. Jacking against the oil pan may cause it to crack or break.

2. Support the engine assembly using the J 28467-B  (1).
3. Remove the air filter housing bolts.



4. Remove the air filter housing.
5. Remove the intermediate bracket bolt.
6. Remove the engine mount damping block bolts.
7. Remove the intermediate bracket nuts.
8. Remove the engine mount.

1. Install the engine mount.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

2. Install intermediate bracket bolt.

Tighten
Tighten the intermediate bracket bolt to 55 N·m (41 lb ft).




3. Install the engine mount damping block bolts.

Tighten
Tighten the engine mount damping block bolts to 50 N·m (37 lb ft).

4. Install the engine mount intermediate bracket nut.

Tighten
Tighten the engine mount intermediate bracket nut to 55 N·m (41 lb ft).

5. Install the air filter housing.
6. Remove the engine support fixture.
7. Connect the negative battery cable.
