Preliminary Procedures Apply the park brake. Shift the transmission into neutral. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle. Disconnect the transmission range selector cable from the range selector cable lever ball stud.
1	Transmission Range Selector Cable Lever Nut Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section. Tighten 25 N·m (18 lb ft)
2	Transmission Range Selector Cable Lever

Tighten
