Makes 🢒 Chevrolet 🢒 2005 🢒 Astro - 4WD 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Mechanical - 4.3L 🢒 Crankshaft Balancer Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the fan shroud assembly.
    2. • Refer to Engine Coolant Fan Upper Shroud Replacement in Engine Cooling.
    • Refer to Engine Coolant Fan Lower Shroud Replacement in Engine Cooling.
  2. Remove the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement .
  3. Remove the crankshaft balancer. Refer to Crankshaft Balancer Removal .
  4. Clean and inspect all parts. Refer to Crankshaft Balancer Cleaning and Inspection .

Installation Procedure
  1. Apply a small amount of grease to the crankshaft front cover oil seal sealing surface if reusing the seal.
  2. Install the crankshaft balancer. Refer to Crankshaft Balancer Installation .
  3. Install the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement .
  4. Install the fan shroud assembly.
    5. • Refer to Engine Coolant Fan Upper Shroud Replacement in Engine Cooling.
    • Refer to Engine Coolant Fan Lower Shroud Replacement in Engine Cooling.
