Determine which turn signal indicator is inoperative.

Is the left turn signal indicator inoperative?

  1. Disconnect the instrument cluster.
  2. Place the ignition switch in the RUN position.
  3. Place the turn signal switch to the side of the inoperative indicator.
  4. Use a test lamp in order to probe the wire of the turn signal indicator at the instrument cluster connector CKT 14 (LT BLU) to ground.

Does the test lamp light?

Repair or replace the instrument cluster as necessary. Refer to Instrument Cluster Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.

Is the repair complete?

Repair the open in CKT 14 (LT BLU) between the instrument cluster and splice S211.

Is the repair complete?

  1. Place the turn signal switch to the right side inoperative indicator.
  2. Use a test lamp in order to probe the wire of the right turn signal indicator at the instrument cluster connector CKT 15 (DK BLU) to ground.

Does the test lamp light?

Repair the open in CKT 15 (DK BLU) between the instrument cluster and splice S212.

Is the repair complete?

Operate the system in order to verify the repair.

Check GAUGES Fuse at the I/P Fuse Block.

Is the fuse operational?

Locate and repair overload and replace GAUGES Fuse.

Is the repair complete?

  1. Disconnect Instrument Cluster.
  2. Place Ignition Switch in RUN position and Turn Signal Switch to the side of the inoperative indicator at the Instrument Cluster Connector. Connect a test lamp from the following two CKT's to ground:
    • CKT 14 (LT BLU) wire (LH)
    • CKT 15 (DK BLU) wire (RH)

Does the lamp flash with Turn Signal?

Locate and Repair open in CKT 15 (DK BLU) wire between Instrument Cluster and Splice S212.

Repair open in CKT 750 (BLK) wire between Insturment Panel and G110.
