Use a test lamp in order to backprobe the turn/headlamp switch assembly connector C1 between terminal 32 and ground.

Does the test lamp light?

  1. Use a test lamp in order to backprobe the turn/headlamp switch assembly connector C1 between terminal 31 and ground.
  2. Turn the headlamp switch to PARK or HEAD.

Does the test lamp light?

Use a test lamp in order to backprobe the underhood junction block connector C3 between terminal D8 and ground.

Does the test lamp light?

Use a test lamp in order to backprobe the right IP junction block connector C1 between terminal C12 and ground.

Does the test lamp light?

Go to Step 8

Replace the turn/headlamp switch assembly. Refer to Multifunction Turn Signal Lever Replacement - On Vehicle in Steering Wheel and Column-Standard.

Repair the open in CKT 240 between the underhood junction block and the turn/headlamp switch assembly.

Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Replace the underhood junction block. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.
