  1. Disconnect the hazard switch connector.
  2. Connect a test lamp between terminal B of the hazard switch connector and ground.

Does the test lamp light?

Connect a test lamp between terminal B and terminal A of the hazard switch connector.

Does the test lamp light?

Backprobe the left IP junction block connector C1 with a test lamp between terminal C12 and ground.

Does the test lamp light?

Replace the hazard switch.

Is the repair complete?

Repair the open in CKT 150 between the hazard switch and ground splice pack G201. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Repair the open in CKT 1140 between the hazard switch and the left IP junction block. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Replace the left IP junction block.

  1. Backprobe the hazard switch connector with a test lamp betwen terminal G (inoperative RH lamps) or terminal F (inoperative LH lamps) and ground.
  2. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
  3. Turn the inoperative turn signal ON.

Does the test lamp flash?

Replace the hazard switch. Refer to Hazard Warning Switch in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.

Repair the open in CKT 15 or CKT 14 between the hazard switch and the respective (right or left) IP junction block. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.
