Front Fog Lamp Replacement XLR-V

Preliminary Procedures

  1. Remove the front wheelhouse liner. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement.
  2. Disconnect the fog lamp bulb socket electrical connector.

Front Fog Lamp Adjuster Screw

Tip
Count the number of turns rearward to remove the screw to use for reference for re-installation.

Front Fog Lamp Projector Screw (Qty: 2)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
1.5 N·m (13 lb in)

Front Fog Lamp Assembly

Warning: Refer to Halogen Bulb Warning in the Preface section.

Procedure

  1. Transfer the bulb socket as needed, to the new lamp assembly.
  2. Install the lamp assembly to the lower bumper fascia.
  3. Install the screws.
  4. Connect the electrical connector.
  5. Aim the fog lamps. Refer to Fog Lamp Aiming.

Front Fog Lamp Replacement XLR

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the wheelhouse panel. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement.

    2. Object Number: 915125 Size: SH
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the bulb/socket (2).
  3. Remove the nuts (3) attaching front fog lamp (1) to the front fascia.
  4. Remove the fog lamp (1) from the fascia.
  5. Remove the bulb/socket from fog lamp. Refer to Front Fog Lamp Bulb Replacement.

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the bulb/socket to fog lamp. Refer to Front Fog Lamp Bulb Replacement.

    2. Object Number: 915125 Size: SH
  2. Install the fog lamp (1) to the fascia.

    3. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  3. Install fog lamp nuts (3) and tighten to 6 N·m (53 lb in).
  4. Connect the fog lamp electrical connector to the bulb/socket (2).
  5. Inspect the fog lamp for proper operation.
  6. Install the wheelhouse panel. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement.
  7. Aim the fog lamp. Refer to Fog Lamp Aiming.
